Headstock
Equipped with AC motor, pulleys and poli-V belt, continuous speed variation. Main spindle supported by high precision bearings permanently lubricated. The high load capacity bearings provide rigidity and high vibration absorption under the most severe cutting conditions, therefore, obtaining excellent precision parts.
Bed
Supported by cast iron columns and internally ribbed providing great vibration absorption under the most different machining conditions. The induction hardened and ground prismatic and plane guide ways constitute a self-adjustable system ensuring permanent saddle contact on the bed. These features offer rigidity, stability and accuracy to the full power machine operations.
Tool holders support and electric turret (optional)
The C 420 can be equipped with different types of tool holders according to the machining processes requirements: quick change tool holder base, rear tool holder, gang tooling plate, 8-station turret electrically driven.
